Dr. MItchell D. Strauss is a Professor of Textiles and Apparel at the University of Northern Iowa, in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

In addition to his interests in fashion, textile materials, and the meaning of dress, he is an avid cyclist and photographer. Dr. Strauss currently shoots with a Nikon D700 and a D300 as well as a range of Nikon glass. He likes best to shoot with fast prime lenses.
